Warts
Warts are caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) which can enter the skin through an injury or trauma. Warts are common in children and teens but may also be seen in adults.
Depending on its size and location, your wart may be removed by any of these methods, or a combination plan:
- Cryotherapy; freezing the wart with liquid nitrogen
- Topical medication- Podophyllin, Cantharidin, prescription medications
- Surgical treatment
This virus is very stubborn and usually requires multiple treatments. Our physician extenders also treat these lesions and offer accessible appointments
